We get resumes quite often. (I personally think people assume that we have more fun than actually getting work done) We make time to carefully go through them. So with that being said, we do our absolute best to point people in the right direction and file away their portfolios in case that day should arise that we invite them to be a part of the Kru.
When we met Kari she lived in Michigan, we honestly had just hired and expanded, and we told her that we’d let her know if something came up. She called us back, came down, met with us and we were blown away by her portfolio and experience. We told ourselves that “she’s gonna get picked up by someone quick” but we hoped the best for her.
Time went by, the opening came, so we quickly got on the horn (email) and asked her if she’d found anything else. She said no, that she had put all of her eggs in one basket. Super score. The next chapter in Kruhu is beginning to unfold as more doors open and another super hero joins the team. You’ll hear more from Kari, as she has founded start up magazines to most recently being a corporate social marketing director – she’ll fit in here, just fine. If you see her, give her a nice warm welcome.
