2009: Chris Rucker and Shane Thompson unify a collective 21 year rumble in the design, interactive, and marketing trench -- and carve into its trench side the word Kruhu, creative, claiming the trench for themselves. Armed with a vast, full-service arsenal of skills, and with sights aimed at breaking conventional technique, Rucker and Thompson begin assembling a Kru to occupy this new trench with them.

The Kru is a band of brothers and sisters, an assembly of grit and genius and strong arms, who help dig out every client solution together -- and who expand the trench collaboratively, as a company. In Rucker and Thompson's minds, collaboration is what makes this company, the Kru, most effective.
